- Code for the fun of it

Since this sites inception I have continued to learn and grow. I want to thank all the great people at Code Project for putting up with me and answering my sometimes stupid questions. As I continue to learn I intend to translate that into what you find on this site in the hopes that you can learn from my mistakes and walk away a little better than when you came.

Your opinion is valuable to me and I need the feedback to know if I'm on the right track or way off base. Sometimes its hard to tell from where I'm sitting. :)

During the course of its exsistence JaxCoder has and will continue to take on new forms, morphing to improve visual appeal and offer more information in a aesthetically pleasing format. If you have any comments or would just like to contact me feel free to do so at:

Will work for food

I'm an old assembler and C programmer self taught in the object oriented languages and Web design. Upon graduating from Murray State University in 1983 I Started doing embedded systems for the automotive industry, got a wild hair and moved to Florida in 1986 and did some work on DEC PDP and MicroVax computers. I got out of the programming field in 1995 for personal reasons and didn't return until a few years ago and have been doing catchup since that time.

Up until about 2 months ago I was employed by a local company for 1-1/2 years programming mobile and desktop applications in C++ and Visual Basic for the construction industry. The position, work and discipline were instrumental to my returning to the work force.

I would like to find a position as an entry to mid level Web designer/programmer in an environment where sharing of information, technology and knowledge among peers is as important as the communication between team members.
